What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Oversee the successful delivery of programs supporting digital modernization efforts at the VA
• Manage agile teams composed of engineers, designers, product managers, and other specialists
• Ensure alignment with mission goals, compliance standards, and delivery timelines
• Engage with stakeholders to facilitate communication between technical and non-technical groups
• Maintain knowledge of federal IT compliance, reporting standards, and ATO processes

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• 5+ years of program or project management experience leading digital delivery teams
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, etc.)
• Proven success managing cross-functional teams across the software development lifecycle
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
• Understanding of VA platforms such as VA.gov, Lighthouse APIs, or similar
• Experience as a federal contractor or supporting prime contracts
• Exposure to human-centered design or digital product strategy
