We are seeking a Technical Sales & Business Development Professional who is passionate about technology and eager to make an impact. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to grow their career in technical sales and business development within a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.

Role Overview

As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will help expand the reach of TenEx’s pioneering completion and production enhancement products. You’ll work closely with leadership—including direct collaboration with the President—to identify new opportunities, develop customer relationships, and drive growth in both existing and emerging markets.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, achievement-oriented professional who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead direct sales efforts for TenEx’s chemical technologies across the U.S. and new international territories.
  • Prospect and generate new business through proactive outreach, including direct calling and networking with potential customers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to strengthen relationships and identify client needs.
  • Manage and maintain customer data, leads, and activities using Pipedrive (CRM) for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Participate in technical conferences, trade shows, and marketing events to represent TenEx and promote our technologies.
  • Provide accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to ensure customer feedback is integrated into product development.
  • Support marketing and promotional initiatives to drive awareness and customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Chemistry, or related field preferred).
  • Strong prospecting, presentation, and deal-closing skills.
  • Proven ability to penetrate competitive accounts and develop long-term relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong numerical aptitude.
  • Solid understanding or access to key oil & gas markets and customers.
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, and territory management abilities.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
