Full Stack Developer

Senior Full Stack Developer (Contract – Remote)Duration: 6-month contract, extensions expected (long-term project) Compensation: $60-65/hr Overview Pediatrix, the nation’s largest newborn hearing screen provider, is modernizing its legacy application into a new, cloud-based platform. The system supports a federally mandated public health program, screening over one million babies annually across 300+ hospitals nationwide. The goal is to build a scalable, cloud-native application from the ground up to ensure timely medical intervention for children who fail initial screenings. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack application components for the new cloud-based platform.
• Collaborate closely with product and delivery teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery cadence.
• Assist in infrastructure setup and configuration (experience in this area is a plus).

Required Skills

• Strong experience with JavaScript (legacy familiarity helpful)
• Node.js and Python development experience
• Experience developing in Azure or other cloud environments (cloud-agnostic mindset a plus)
• Full software development lifecycle experience, ideally within agile/Kanban environments
