Our customer is an award-winning, well-established luxury travel company, renowned for creating bespoke journeys and exclusive travel experiences. With a reputation for excellence, they specialise in designing highly personalised itineraries, delivering exceptional service and attention to detail.

They are now seeking a fluent Italian-speaking Travel Designer to join their dynamic team, with a focus on selling and curating tours to Italy. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with both the language skills and the passion for Italy, who can bring destinations to life while crafting tailor-made travel experiences for discerning clients.

Job Description:

In this role, you will use your expertise in luxury travel to create bespoke holidays, delivering exceptional service while supporting sales performance and client satisfaction.

• Respond to client enquiries and manage relationships throughout the booking process
• Create tailor-made tour itineraries based on individual client needs
• Coordinate bookings and communications with travel agents and partners
• Produce clear, exciting itinerary content that suits the client’s requirements
• Liaise with guides and suppliers across Italy
• Arrange bookings for guides, activities, tickets, and related services
• Continuously grow high-quality accommodation options
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure the smooth delivery of each trip

Experience Required:

• Fluent (C1) in written and spoken Italian and English (non-negotiable)
• Strong knowledge of designing private, customised itineraries for US clients travelling to Italy
• Quick thinking and adaptable, with a proactive mindset
• Strong team player, able to collaborate across departments
• Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work independently
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Confident in client communication and closing sales over the phone
• Solid understanding of sales fundamentals, including needs analysis and creative solutions
• Skilled in itinerary pricing with speed and accuracy
• Comfortable working remotely, with flexibility to attend team meetings in Italy once or twice a year
• Confident using multiple systems and adapting quickly to new technology
• Able to work shifts (5 days per week, covering a 7-day team rota)
