Program Manager (Research Ops) [207820]

Our AI tech client is looking for a Project/Program Manager to own the operational execution of human data vendors and research programs, in close partnership with the Evaluation Product/Program Manager. This is a full time, 6+ month role, fully remote (must align to West Coast hours) What You’ll Do

• Manage day-to-day relationships with human data vendors (onboarding, scope, timelines, deliverables, renewals).
• Plan and run research projects end-to-end (requirements intake, schedules, resourcing, execution tracking).
• Coordinate across evaluation, research, legal, and engineering to ensure projects stay on track.
• Track budgets, throughput, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Establish lightweight processes, documentation, and reporting for vendor and research operations.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years experience in project or program management (research ops, vendor management, or data programs preferred).
• Strong execution instincts: detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing ambiguity.
• Experience working with external vendors and cross-functional internal teams.
• Clear communicator who can keep complex efforts moving without heavy process.
• Contract availability with flexibility to scale workload as programs ramp.
• Experience in UX research operations or AI-related fields is a plus.
