About the role

About BASS MCS

BASS MCS keeps critical facilities running. We are a veteran-owned provider of electrical inspection, preventative maintenance, testing, and repair for facilities that cannot afford downtime, including data centers, hospitals, utilities, manufacturing plants, and government sites. Our programs are built around NFPA 70B, the recommended practice for electrical equipment maintenance, and we serve customers nationwide, often across many sites under one agreement.

We grew out of nearly three decades of commercial and industrial electrical work with BASS Electric, founded in 1996, and launched our maintenance, inspection, and testing operation in 2025. That makes us a young, fast-growing team with deep roots, and our operations team is growing with us.

About the role

Our project managers juggle hundreds of maintenance jobs at a time. We are hiring an Operations Coordinator to own the administrative workflow around those jobs: confirming every detail before a crew arrives and closing out every job after the work is done. You will be the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks, so our PMs can focus on running projects.

This is a fully remote, full-time role working Central Time business hours. It is fast paced and high volume, with a steady stream of priorities throughout the day. If you love checklists, clean data, and getting things across the finish line, you will fit right in.

What you will do

  • Set up new jobs: create job folders from templates and build tasks in Monday.com for the PMs.
  • Coordinate pre-job details: confirm site contacts, send formal confirmations to customers and subcontractors, and verify Certificates of Insurance.
  • Request, receive, and file purchase orders once pricing is approved, and track open quotes and special projects.
  • Follow up on every open item and flag anything still pending 2 weeks before a job.
  • Send scheduled customer notices ahead of each maintenance window.
  • Close out jobs: collect technician reports, dailies, photos, and files, and file them where they belong.
  • Prepare updated equipment lists in Excel for PM review.
  • Follow up on outstanding billing until it is handed to Accounting.
  • Keep Monday.com boards accurate and help us automate more of the manual work.
  • Jump into special projects, from reporting to Excel builds.

What you bring

  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, operations coordination, or project management, supporting many projects at once.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Daily fluency in Microsoft 365.
  • Experience keeping customers, vendors, and internal teams on the same page.
  • The ability to learn new software quickly. You will spend much of your day in Monday.com.
  • A proven ability to work independently with minimal direction once trained.
  • A sharp sense of priorities when multiple people need something at the same time.
  • A dedicated, distraction-free home office and reliable high-speed internet.

Nice to have

  • Experience at a construction, electrical, trade, or field service company.
  • Hands-on Monday.com experience.
  • Prior experience working fully remote.
  • Familiarity with COIs, purchase orders, and job closeout.
  • Exposure to data center or mission-critical work.

Why Bass MCS

  • Real room to grow. This role is built to expand, with a path toward project coordination, project management, and leadership as we grow.
  • A team that trusts you. We train you well, then give you the space to run with it. No micromanaging.
  • Work from home, full-time, with a team that has made remote work succeed for years.
  • 401(k) with a 4% employer contribution, 100% vested from day one of eligibility.
  • 11 paid holidays, 10 days of paid vacation, and 40 hours of paid sick leave each year.

Our hiring process

Recruiter screen, hiring manager interview, leadership interview, and a final team panel. We aim to move quickly and keep you informed at every step.
