Black Diamond Agency is an award-winning national staffing agency, specialising in promotions, events & experiential marketing. We have been established for nearly 16 years, and while still a small business, we experience considerable growth year after year. Our workforce consists of 1000+ casual employees that we manage nationally and an internal team of 13. We are looking for a motivated Staffing Manager to take us to the next stage of growth for the company.

About the Role:
- Full-time, Tuesday to Saturday. The hours would vary 7-3pm, 8-4pm, 9-5pm or 10-6pm, varying each day but the same every week + reasonable overtime where the business requires it.
- The role would be based 100% remote – but you must be based permanently in Sydney.
- You would need to attend site visits regularly, which could be anywhere in your city
- Your commencement date would be as soon as possible, but we are flexible.
As a Staffing Manager, you will:
- Be responsible for around 500 casual staff in Sydney & Wollongong as well as other areas as required.
- Be a strong, positive & enthusiastic leader of your regions
- Be responsible for filling all shifts in your regions
- Be responsible for 100% high satisfaction levels from clients regarding your team
- Replace last minute cancellations
- Brief & train your team for all events
- Communicate both positive and negative feedback to staff after the completion of a job
- Approve timesheets & other admin tasks that come with the role
- Assist with recruitment where needed
- Drive process changes and improve business efficiency in all areas of staffing
- Other adhoc tasks that come with the nature of the role
About You:
- Able to manage people in a democratic way with empathy, but also with assertivenes,s and able to build their trust and respect
- Positive work ethic and can-do attitude
- Able to meet deadlines
- Excellent time-management skills, self-motivated, and the ability to work autonomously
- Extremely organised and efficient
- Advanced written & verbal communication skills
- Excellent phone/email manner
- Process driven
- Razor-sharp attention to detail
- Highly motivated and proactive work ethic
- Can work well under pressure
- Proficient in G-Suite, but understand tech well, and working on cloud software
- It will be an added bonus if you drive and have your own vehicle
- Experienced brand ambassador/event staff, looking for the next step up in the industry (good to HAVE but NOT required)
