About Bridging Connect

Bridging Connect Ltd is a London-based startup focused on connecting professionals and businesses across the West and East (UK US, EU, Commonwealth, Japan, Korea and China). We’re building a multilingual AI-powered professional networking platform to make global business expansion easier through digital tools and consulting services.

We operate across three sectors:

• Bridging Connect AI – our platform (launching soon)
• Bridging Connect Digital – digital agency services
• Bridging Connect Expansion – market entry consulting

Role Overview

We are looking for a committed Full Stack Developer (Volunteer) with a focus on backend integrations and AI services. You will work closely with our frontend developer and the founder to implement and optimise our AI-powered features:

🔧 Responsibilities

• AI integration (OpenAI/Gemini API, Supabase)
• Build serverless functions for suggested replies & matchmaking
• Develop auto-translation and AI chat tools
• Ensure scalable and secure backend logic
• Coordinate with frontend to align feature development
• Participate in one weekly check-in meeting (Mondays)
• Collaborate via Slack, GitHub, and Vercel

✅ Requirements

• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js
• Familiarity with Supabase, Firebase, or serverless backends
• Experience with AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek) is a huge plus
• Able to work independently and provide weekly updates
• GitHub collaboration experience
• Strong communication and proactive mindset
• Bonus: Experience with React (to collaborate with frontend)
