C3Talent is proud to partner with a rapidly growing global SaaS business to find them their next Commercial Finance Director.

This is a senior leadership role at the centre of commercial decision-making, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and the Executive Team.

As the Commercial Finance Director, you will play a key role in shaping strategy, improving financial insight, and supporting growth through both organic expansion and acquisitions.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Commercial Finance Director will:

• Partner with senior leaders on pricing, customer strategy, and growth decisions
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting across the group
• Deliver clear Board and executive reporting with strong commercial insight
• Build and maintain financial models that support long-term planning and scenario analysis
• Lead financial evaluation and support for acquisition activity
• Work closely with the Financial Controller on monthly reporting and performance analysis
• Develop capability within a small finance team while lifting analytical standards
• Support the adoption of modern finance tools and AI-driven analysis

About you

You are a commercially driven finance leader who thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments and enjoys working close to the business as well as at a strategic level. You bring strong judgement, curiosity, and the ability to turn financial data into clear commercial insight.

As an experienced CA/CPA, you also possess an advanced financial modelling capability, along with exposure to M&A analysis, valuation, and due diligence.

A strong background in, or understanding of, SaaS or subscription-based businesses is highly advantageous. You are confident engaging with executive and Board stakeholders, take a pragmatic and hands-on approach to your work, and have experience mentoring or developing others within a lean finance function.
