Position Summary
Talent Coordinators at Connexus Technology support recruitment operations and serve as a key liaison between Connexus, its clients’ hiring managers, internal recruiters, and vendor partners. Individuals in this role help coordinate candidate submissions, interview processes, hiring communications, and recruiting activities while contributing to strong client relationships and a high standard of service that reflects Connexus’ reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive contract job and/or permanent placement openings from Connexus clients and recruit qualified candidates using provided tools, Connexus internal recruiters, and third-party vendors
- Review candidate submissions and resumes from Connexus recruiters, vendors, or client sources for alignment with role requirements
- Screen candidates via telephone, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms to evaluate skills, experience, and compensation alignment
- Perform reference checks when needed
- Present qualified candidates to Connexus clients and coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers
- Negotiate pay rates with candidates using Connexus pay rate guidance
- Support the maintenance and updating of Connexus’ consultant database with candidates from multiple sources
- Act as a trusted partner to clients by ensuring timely communication, strong alignment with hiring needs, and a commitment to high-quality staffing outcomes
- Participate in weekly meetings with the internal team to review outcomes from the prior week, assess progress against established recruiting goals, identify risks or challenges, and set clear, measurable goals and priorities for the upcoming week
- Maintain accountability for execution against weekly recruiting goals and commitments discussed and agreed upon during weekly reviews
- Participate in formal performance reviews every six (6) months, during which recruiting performance will be evaluated based on goal attainment, quality and timeliness of candidate submissions, effectiveness in managing recruiters and vendor partners, accuracy of reporting, and overall client satisfaction
- Adhere to policies and procedures established in the Connexus employee handbook
Skills & Competencies
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Experience working with recruiters and vendors
- Proven negotiation skills and discernment in candidate selection
- Ability to manage time effectively, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think creatively
- Knowledge of basic HR practices and staffing industry standards
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Personable and professional with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and vendors
- 3-5 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or human resources, preferably within a staffing/recruiting firm
- Prior experience supporting C-level executives and managing high-profile client relationships
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate salaries and manage vendor pipelines
- Comfort working with IT and business technology roles, along with proven experience recruiting Life Sciences and healthcare talent
- Must be willing and able to commute to Philadelphia, PA for occasional meetings, events, and team activities
