Position Overview
We are seeking a Financial / Business Analyst to join our team. This role offers the opportunity for an experienced, analytical professional to work closely with senior leadership on investment evaluation, corporate strategy, and portfolio performance. The successful candidate will take ownership of financial analysis, modeling, deal evaluation, and board-level communications to drive informed decision-making across the firm. You will play a critical role in supporting decision-making processes through detailed financial analysis, modeling, and research.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Portfolio Performance Monitoring: Lead monitoring and analysis of portfolio company financial and operational KPIs, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and present findings to senior leadership.
- Deal Sourcing & Evaluation: Proactively source, screen, and evaluate new investment opportunities, including acquisitions, carve-outs, and private equity transactions.
- Financial Modeling:& Valuation: Build and maintain complex financial models (three-statement, LBO, DCF, scenario analysis) to support deal evaluation, capital allocation, and strategic planning.
- Due Diligence Management: Coordinate and participate in financial, operational, and commercial due diligence processes
- Industry & Market Research: Conduct comprehensive research on target markets, competitors, and macroeconomic factors to support investment theses.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to developing best-in-class processes, tools, and frameworks for investment analysis and portfolio management.
- Presentation & Reporting: Create high-quality materials such as investment memos, pitch decks, and board presentations.
- Team Collaboration: Engage with internal teams, advisors, and portfolio company executives to support strategic and operational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or management consulting.
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with excellent financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analyses to senior executives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity/venture capital, or corporate finance is highly valued.
