Are you a true Photoshop Wiz with a knack for high-end digital compositing?

We are currently looking for a talented freelance Retoucher / Compositor for a short-term freelance project with a high-profile Victorian State Government studio. This is a fully remote opportunity (though you must be based in Australia) to help transform a suite of brand images into a polished, high-fidelity hero execution.

The Role

The internal design team has a clear vision and a suite of finalised imagery ready to go. Your task is to take these assets and create a seamless, multi-layered digital composition.

Drawing inspiration from complex, geometric AI mockups, you will be responsible for:

• Stitching together disparate brand images (lab environments, machinery, and field work) into a cohesive narrative landscape.
• Expertly managing perspective, depth, and lighting to ensure all elements feel integrated.
• Executing high-end colour grading and retouching to achieve a premium, "hero" finish.
• Working efficiently to meet a fast-turnaround deadline once the final image selection is confirmed next week.

About You

Pure and simple, you're a Photoshop Guru who knows how to do retouching and image compositing inside out.

You have a portfolio that demonstrates:

• Advanced skills in Photoshop, specifically with complex compositing and layer management.
• A keen eye for detail, particularly regarding lighting consistency and realistic textures.
• Experience working within brand guidelines while pushing the creative execution.
• The ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running in a professional government studio environment.

• Start Date: Ready to go early next week (April 27th)
• Location: Fully Remote (Candidates must be based in Australia; Victoria preferred).
• Engagement: Short-term freelance gig.
