Billing & Collections Specialist | Remote

Position: Fractional Billing & Accounts Receivable (AR) Operations Specialist

Type: Part time contract

Compensation: $75 to $100 per hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Own end to end client invoicing cycles across time based, milestone based, and retainer models.
• Manage accounts receivable workflows and collections communication.
• Maintain AR aging reports and support cash flow forecasting.
• Improve billing systems, documentation, and operational controls.
• Support revenue reconciliation and financial reporting processes.

Requirements

• Strong experience in billing and AR operations.
• Background in professional services environments such as consulting or advisory firms.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition and billing models.
• Experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero.
• Excellent written communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fractional capacity.
