Finance Analyst | Remote

Position: Public Sector Finance – AI Trainer

Type: Hourly contract (Part-time)

Compensation: $ 100-200/hr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Source, review, and seed real-world public sector finance spreadsheets and unstructured artifacts for AI training.
• Analyze ambiguous, incomplete, or messy financial data and provide domain context to support model learning.
• Collaborate closely with AI model development teams to improve partial or evolving models using finance-adjacent insights.
• Create clear, structured documentation explaining data seeding, normalization, and interpretation steps.
• Support the development of workflows that enable models to reconstruct, normalize, or extend unstructured finance data.
• Participate in iterative feedback cycles to refine AI understanding of public sector finance datasets.
• Promote best practices for handling broad, undefined data inputs in fast-moving and ambiguous project environments.

Requirements

• Strong domain knowledge in public sector finance or closely related finance-adjacent fields.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with messy, incomplete, or ambiguous financial data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to clarity and detail.
• Comfort working remotely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency working with spreadsheets, financial models, and real-world public sector finance artifacts.
• Adaptability to structure-later workflows and comfort seeding data without predefined rubrics.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and responsive in dynamic project settings.
