Role: Regional Sales Manager (East) Power Supplies

Sector: AC-DC Power Supplies, DC-DC Convertors, Power Systems

Location: East of England, A1 Corridor, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk

The Company

Our client is a dynamic, industry leading, manufacturer and supplier of Power Supply solutions. As a global brand in the Power Electronics market, this organisation offers an incredible platform for proactive salespeople to achieve fantastic results.

Following the retirement of a long-standing employee, they are now looking to recruit an industry experienced Regional Sales Manager to manage accounts and generate new opportunities in the North.

The Role & Responsibilities

  • The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the development of new and existing customer accounts
  • Achieving financial and Design-In targets
  • Providing quotations to customers and following through to close
  • Prepare annual key account and sales plans to further increase sales in the region
  • You will have direct responsibility for the front end of the sales process, including researching and targeting potential clients, lead generation, qualification and account development.
  • The position will be supported, by an experienced team of sales support and technical engineers.
  • The position will be home based and will involve regular travel to customer sites.

Qualifications and Skills required:

  • A proven track record of sales achievement in the Electronics market
  • Strong technical understand of Power Electronics and Power Supplies.
  • Degree, or equivalent, in electrical engineering
  • A track record of working autonomously from a home office
  • Dynamic, upbeat, lively character with the capacity to inspire confidence from first contact
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Full UK driving licence
