Curate Art Group’s Art Consultants are ambitious and driven professionals, with strong business development experience, who nurture and grow current relationships. They use consultative selling skills to educate clients and develop a mutual trust. The ability to focus in a complex, dynamic environment is a must. 

Together with Curate’s Project Managers, Art Consultants manage the many details of a project’s lifeline, including: establishing new client relationships, providing options based on requests, and overseeing a project from start to finish. The Art Consultant listens to clients’ visions, uncovers needs, and project manages for budget and project timeline. A successful Art Consultant is an independent, creative, and tenacious professional who is rewarded not only with a generous and flexible compensation package, but with the satisfaction and pride of helping to create a beautiful aesthetic that speaks to the clients’ goals. 

Art Consultants must have sales and presentation experience with a proven track record of client acquisition and retention. The ideal Art Consultant has an ardent customer service mindset, a strong personal aesthetic, and passion for art and design. They are a stickler for details, exceptional at timelines, and highly motivated to sell, educate and please the client, and grow the business. 

Your Impact: 

  • Establish new client relationships, including travel to clients, events, and conferences 
  • Create and present custom art packages and manage the art process from project inception to completion 
  • Lead client intake, art review, and budget review 
  • Oversee the art sampling/proofing process, including documenting client approval 
  • Maintain client budgets and production timelines, while being mindful of Curate’s margin targets 
  • Oversee negotiation of pricing and timelines with vendors and artists 
  • Position Curate for success through white-glove customer service and effective client education on Curate products and services
  • Uncover needs and opportunities while aligning client expectations with company resources and capabilities during the life of the customer relationship, seeking opportunities to drive sales growth
