Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Planning Transformation Specialist to join a newly established deployment team responsible for rolling out a major global planning transformation programme across multiple manufacturing sites.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in supply planning, manufacturing scheduling, S&OP, or supply chain operations who enjoys leading change, influencing stakeholders, and delivering complex transformation initiatives.
You will act as the key site transformation lead, helping manufacturing locations successfully adopt new planning processes, systems, and ways of working while ensuring sustainable long-term improvements.
This is a fully remote position based in Ireland, offering the opportunity to work with global teams while playing a critical role in shaping the future of supply chain planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment of a global supply planning transformation programme across assigned manufacturing sites.
- Partner with site leadership, supply chain, and operations teams to drive adoption of a new Target Operating Model (TOM).
- Assess site readiness and identify gaps against future-state processes and capabilities.
- Develop and execute deployment, engagement, and change management plans.
- Deliver training, coaching, and capability-building sessions to site teams.
- Drive stakeholder engagement across multiple functions and levels of the organisation.
- Monitor project milestones, risks, KPIs, and deployment progress.
- Identify and resolve barriers to adoption while ensuring programme objectives are achieved.
- Embed new planning processes, tools, and behaviours to support lasting organisational change.
- Share lessons learned and best practices to strengthen future deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years' experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing Scheduling, S&OP, or Supply Chain Operations.
- Experience within Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, Medical Device, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading supply chain transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience driving projects with defined timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Previous experience leading teams, coaching colleagues, or driving cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and change management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced global environment.
- SAP, IBP, APO, or similar planning system experience is advantageous.
- Change Management certification or formal training would be beneficial.
Travel: Approximately 15–35% depending on project phase and site requirements
Eligibility: To meet the travel requirements of this position, candidates must hold a valid EU passport.
