Role Description

This is a contract remote role for an Appliance Technician. The Appliance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various appliances, performing routine maintenance, and providing excellent customer service. The role also involves scheduling and documenting service calls, ordering necessary parts, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing appliances, including but not limited to refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and washing machines
• Strong technical skills and ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong customer service skills with clear and professional communication abilities
• Ability to manage service schedules and maintain accurate service records
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience with remote diagnostics and virtual customer support is a plus
• Relevant certifications or technical training in appliance repair preferred
