Your Responsibilities:
New Business Development
- Drive market analysis and business development across Ireland, a key European region for Life Science & Medical.
- Acquire new customers and identify growth opportunities with existing clients.
- Collaborate closely with international sales teams to support global accounts and align regional strategies.
International Sales & Account Management
- Own assigned customer accounts for customized and standard components, optical systems, and integrated solutions.
- Deliver results in Life Science & Medical (LS&M) EMEA with a focus on Ireland.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and order fulfilment.
Customer Needs Management
- Identify customer requirements and expectations.
- Collaborate with business segments to design tailored technical and commercial solutions.
- Prepare, evaluate, and process customer quotations efficiently.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain continuous engagement with customers, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Lead pricing and contract negotiations while facilitating clear communication between customers and internal teams.
Market & Technology Insights
- Monitor emerging trends in life sciences, optics, and photonics.
- Evaluate potential new customers and evolving customer requirements within Ireland.
- Provide actionable insights to inform regional business strategy.
Order & Revenue Management
- Oversee order management and ensure smooth turnover for assigned accounts.
- Monitor revenue performance and follow up on customer orders to maintain satisfaction and delivery excellence.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Life Sciences, Business, or comparable qualification.
- Proven background in international sales or business development, ideally in life sciences, optics, photonics, or high-tech industries.
- Ireland (home-based).
- Strong customer orientation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Independent, structured, and solution oriented.
- Fluent English (additional languages a plus).
