Finatal are partnered with a high-growth, international PE-Backed SaaS Business, c. £50m t/o on a search for a Head of FP&A to support the CFO and drive the company’s global planning, forecasting and performance-reporting framework. The business is scaling rapidly and is undergoing a finance-transformation programme to build a best-in-class finance function.

The Role

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, performance reporting and strategic financial analysis. Working closely with senior leadership, you will provide data-driven insights that influence commercial decisions, support growth initiatives and enhance financial performance. This is an individual-contributor role with significant senior-stakeholder exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy and alignment to strategic objectives.
  • Build and maintain robust financial models, long-range plans and scenario analyses.
  • Partner with senior executives to provide insights into revenue trends, cost performance, margins and ROI.
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting, variance analysis and commentary for leadership.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards and decision-support tools to enhance financial visibility.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning, reporting and analytical processes.
  • Work with systems and analytics teams to enhance reporting accuracy, workflows and data integrity.

About You

  • Proven FP&A experience, ideally as a Head of FP&A, Senior Finance Manager or Commercial Finance Lead.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA or Equivalent) and Audit background
  • Prior experience in a SaaS/technology business
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing at executive level.
  • Experience improving processes, systems and reporting frameworks within a fast-growth or multinational environment.
  • Prior experience in a SaaS/technology business
  • Experience with planning tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, TM1, Vena) beneficial.
  • Strong financial-modelling, analytical and presentation skills.
