Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) AnalystLocation: Global (Canada, Germany, India, Spain, UK, US)
G&L are seeking a highly analytical, detail-driven FP&A Analyst to join our international Finance team. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping financial strategy and providing insights that drive critical decision-making across our multinational operations.
As our FP&A Analyst, you will lead budgeting and forecasting processes, build robust financial models, and deliver analysis that supports both local and global teams. You’ll act as a key partner to departments including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR - translating financial insights into actionable recommendations that support growth and operational excellence.
Job ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Forecasting
- Develop dynamic financial models and scenario analyses
- Lead annual budgeting cycles with cross-functional stakeholders
- Produce rolling forecasts that evolve with business needs
- Integrate macroeconomic trends and internal KPIs into forecasts
Financial & Performance Analysis
- Analyse revenue trends, cost drivers, and profitability
- Conduct variance analysis and explain performance drivers
- Identify risks, opportunities, and initiatives to improve margins
Reporting & Insights
- Produce monthly management reports and dashboards
- Automate reporting using Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong financial controls
Business Partnering
- Work closely with commercial and operational teams globally
- Support decision-making on pricing, hiring, and investment
- Communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams
Person Specification:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
- 2+ years of global FP&A experience within a multinational organisation
- Strong financial modelling skills and advanced analytical capabilities
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong organisational skills and ability to thrive under deadlines
- High attention to detail with a “right-first-time” mindset
- Commercially aware and proactive in driving insights
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience collaborating across cultures
- Proficiency with Excel, ERP systems (e.g., D365 BC, SAP, Netsuite, Oracle) and BI tools
- Fluency in English; additional languages a bonus
