Python Developer / Software Engineer

Remote (UK) | Full Time | Up to £90,000

About Us

We’re a growing and hugely successful European car insurance technology company with a friendly, supportive international team. Our platform gives consumers an insurance quote within 60 seconds, using just four clicks.

About the Role

Are you a technologist Python Developer with good knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM)? You’ll help shape the future of identity and access management through software engineering, automation and modern cloud technologies. You’ll build solutions that improve how people securely access systems and services, using Infrastructure as Code, developing custom applications in Python and Rust, and integrating leading platforms such as Okta and Cloudflare Zero Trust.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious software engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems, improving developer and user experiences, and working across our Security, Engineering and People teams. You’ll contribute to automation, platform development and internal tooling while helping define best practices and the next generation of identity solutions across the business.

Location and Working Pattern

This is a remote role. We’re big advocates of flexible working and proud of our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. You can work from home full time, or use our London office if you prefer. You must have the right to work in the UK.

About You

  • Strong knowledge of IAM solutions, including Okta
  • A good understanding of Infrastructure as Code, with Terraform experience
  • Experience across the full development lifecycle, having delivered end-to-end projects
  • A collaborative, pragmatic approach and strong stakeholder communication skills

What’s in It for You

  • Salary of up to £90,000
  • The ability to work up to 30 days a year from any EU country
  • A diverse, inclusive team environment with a range of support networks, including LGBTIQA+ and Women’s Networking groups
