Director, Project Management (Contractor) – Oncology
Location: Remote (U.S. only)
Contract: 18 months | Pay: $110/hour
Note: This role is with our client (a precision-oncology biotech). It is not a role at GQR.
Overview
Our client is a precision-medicine oncology company advancing targeted therapies in late-stage clinical development. They seek a Director, Project Management to lead cross-functional teams through pivotal execution, NDA/BLA preparation, and commercialization.
What You’ll Do
- Own integrated program planning (timelines, resources, budgets, risk/issue management) for multi-year, late-stage assets.
- Build and enable high-performing, matrixed teams; drive clear decisions and milestone readiness.
- Coordinate across Clinical/ClinOps, Regulatory, Nonclinical, CMC, Quality, IP/Legal, and Finance.
- Develop dashboards/tools; communicate proactively to leadership and governance.
- Lead submission readiness (pre-NDA/BLA, authoring orchestration, responses) and support launch transition.
- Contribute to PMO standards, tools, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- 12+ years in pharma/biotech program/project leadership across Ph 1-3; commercialization experience.
- Hands-on NDA and/or BLA experience.
- Advanced PM expertise; strong influencing and executive-level communication.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end drug development; oncology experience a must
- Bachelor’s required; scientific/advanced degree preferred; PMP a plus.
- U.S.-based remote work; ability to travel as needed.
Compensation
Pay rate: $110/hour.
