Technical Project Manager – Payroll & Time & AttendanceLocation: Poland (Remote)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Rate: $15 USD/hour
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead HR technology and operations projects, with a primary focus on payroll systems, time tracking, and related integrations. This role will ensure successful project delivery by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing vendor relationships, and aligning initiatives with business goals. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Workday, payroll platforms, and end-to-end HR project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with HR, IT, and external vendors. Develop detailed project plans and oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, pilot implementation, and full deployment.
- Technical & Process Documentation: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and process maps. Maintain documentation for integrations, interfaces, and system configurations.
- Team & Stakeholder Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, facilitate meetings, assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Vendor & System Integration Management: Coordinate with external vendors and internal IT teams to implement and test system integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity between Workday, payroll, and time & attendance platforms.
- Risk & Change Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of HR project management experience, including end-to-end payroll and other HR projects. Hands-on experience with Workday and payroll systems.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Asana), advanced Excel, and data analysis/reporting.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
