Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 per year plus per file bonus

Position Summary:
The Loan Officer Assistant provides administrative support to loan officers by managing documentation, coordinating communication with clients, and ensuring that loan applications are processed smoothly and efficiently. The assistant works closely with loan officers to gather required information, prepare loan files, and ensure compliance with all lending regulations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Application Support:
- Assist loan officers in gathering and reviewing client financial information, such as income verification, credit reports, and other documentation.
- Prepare and organize loan applications for submission, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on the status of their loan applications and addressing any questions or concerns.
Document Management:
- Organize and maintain loan files in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Upload, scan, and file important loan-related documents electronically.
- Track and follow up on outstanding documents and missing information.
Coordination and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between the loan officer, underwriters, clients, and other parties involved in the loan process.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and calls for the loan officer.
- Provide regular updates on loan status to all relevant stakeholders.
Compliance and Quality Control:
- Ensure all loan applications comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Assist in conducting pre-closing reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of loan documents.
Administrative Support:
- Handle administrative tasks such as emails, phone calls, and client follow-ups.
- Prepare and distribute reports related to loan pipelines, status updates, and pending applications.
Experience:
- Prior LOA or Processing Experience
- Encompass Experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and loan processing software.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
- Knowledge of lending guidelines and regulations is a plus.
