Compensation: Circa 90-110k (For the right person there is scope for more) + Equity is also available

The client

They’re a highly profitable, operationally intense business at the intersection of environmental consulting and digital transformation. They’ve grown without outside funding, and they’re now investing heavily in automating internal operations and unlocking new digital services powered by AI.

You won’t be supporting someone else’s app – you’ll be building their own proprietary tech that directly powers the business and revenue growth. This is greenfield work, tied directly to real-world problems and high-margin opportunities.

The right profile for the role

The client is not interested in strategy decks, slideware, or self-proclaimed “thought leaders.” They want someone who can build real, working software. Fast. You will be employee number 2 into the AI/ML team so working in small, self-starter environments is a must.

They’re looking for a true end-to-end senior AI/ML engineer – someone who can go from scratch to shipped without needing a team, agency, or hand-holding.

This role is for someone who thrives on execution:

• Design and build AI-native apps across tablet, mobile, desktop, and web.
• Integrate GenAI deeply into workflows, automate reporting and data ingestion.
• Own the full stack – front end, back end, infra, and ML/AI pipelines.
• Ship MVPs that deliver measurable value.
• Operate solo until the business case is proven – then we’ll scale around you.
