Job Summary
As a Senior Piping Designer, you will support projects for industrial and pharmaceutical facilities in a remote role. You will manage the schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks, review vendor drawings, support piping engineering design, and develop design estimates. You will work with multi-office and multi-disciplinary teams, communicate scope and design changes promptly, and mentor other professionals.
PAY: $35.97/hr - $115.00/hr DOE
LOCATION: Cincinnati, OH or remote within the US.
WORK TYPE: Remote
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Responsibilities
• Manage the schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks.
• Work within client expectations, scope, budget, earned value (progress measurement), and assigned-task schedules.
• Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly.
• Review vendor drawings and perform piping engineering design.
• Develop design estimates.
• Mentor other professionals and support their development.
Required Qualifications
• Associate’s degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or a similar technical degree.
• At least 15 years of piping design experience.
• Advanced working knowledge of piping design in 2D/3D modeling software such as Hexagon Smartplant S3D or Autodesk Plant 3D.

Work Environment
This is a remote role involving multi-office and multi-disciplinary collaboration, review of vendor drawings, and work in 2D/3D piping-design software. Candidates local to the Cincinnati office are ideal, but candidates anywhere in the US may be considered.
