Position Overview

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Associate to support end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, vendor coordination, order tracking, inventory management, logistics oversight, and demand planning.
  • This role requires strong communication skills, data accuracy, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners in a fully remote environment.
  • The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working with ERP systems, spreadsheets, and supply chain tools.

Key Responsibilities1. Order & Procurement Management

  • Assist with purchase order creation, validation, and tracking in the company ERP system.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order status, delivery timelines, and inventory availability.
  • Ensure procurement documentation accuracy (POs, invoices, shipment documents).

2. Supplier & Vendor Coordination

  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve delays, discrepancies, or pricing issues.
  • Communicate proactively with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and escalate issues when required.

3. Inventory Monitoring & Control

  • Track inventory levels and support replenishment planning.
  • Perform regular inventory reconciliation and help maintain accurate stock records.
  • Assist in forecasting inventory needs based on sales, historical data, and seasonality.

4. Logistics & Shipment Coordination

  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Work with logistics partners to resolve shipping delays, routing issues, or documentation errors.
  • Support freight scheduling, tracking, and delivery confirmations.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain supply chain reports including:
  • Order status
  • Inventory levels
  • Supplier performance
  • Lead time tracking
  • Use Excel/Sheets and ERP dashboards to interpret supply chain KPIs and trends.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Operations, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
  • Communicate inventory issues, shipment delays, or supply risks promptly.
  • Assist in improving supply chain workflows and documentation.

7. Process Improvement

  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies in procurement, inventory, and logistics processes.
  • Support automation initiatives using ERP features or process optimization.
  • Contribute to SOP creation and continuous improvement projects.

Required Skills & QualificationsCore Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations support.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes (procurement, inventory, logistics).
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data validation).
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • Good communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
  • Equivalent practical experience also considered.
