Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Academic Mentor. The Academic Mentor will provide academic support to IELTS candidates, help them gradually improve in all four skills and language system required for success in IELTS. Mentoring in this concept is more remedial than procedural focusing on the audience's pain points to provide academic and effective solutions. This leads the candidate to gain the desired band score in IELTS. Classes are held one-to-one and the lesson are designed per case meaning there is no fixed syllabus for those sitting our classes.

Qualifications

• IELTS band score 8+
• Teaching experience for at least 3 years
• Experienced with IELTS candidates and context
• Relevant education (desirable)
• Ability to design a IELTS -oriented lesson according to each case
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Ability to use online platforms and AI effectively as an assistant to facilities teaching and material developing
