Role Description
This is a remote role for a Director / Vice President – Investment Banking Licensed Placement and M&A Professional (Series 7 / 79). This position is commission-only and offers revenue-share participation in a live, institutional-grade real estate private equity client fundraise, alongside broader opportunities across private markets and M&A.
Role Overview
This is a front-office,revenue-generating role focused on: Direct investor origination and conversion, anchor investor sourcing and execution, driving capital formation strategies in coordination with senior leadership.
You will operate with autonomy, supported by:
- Institutional-quality materials and structuring
- Active deal flow and live mandates
- Dedicated analyst and executive team support
Core Responsibilities
- Originate and engage institutional LPs (RIAs, family offices, pensions, endowments)
- Support investor meetings, diligence discussions, and closing processes
- Source and secure anchor and LP fund investors
- Drive capital commitments through execution
- Collaborate with senior team on positioning, structuring, and investor strategy
- Expand MCP’s investor network and contribute to future mandates
Participate in additional:
- Private equity / private credit fundraises
- Programmatic JV capital raises
- Financial Services industryM&A transactions

Candidate Profile:
**
- FINRA Series 7 and/or 79 licensed (required)
- Demonstrated track record of raising capital and/or closing transactions
- Existing relationships with
RIAs, Family offices, Institutional allocators, etc.
- Private equity structures and commercial real estate/alternative investments
- Highly self-directed with entrepreneurial drive and sourcing capability.
- Ability to independently originate, manage, and close investor relationships
Additional Responsibilities:
Sourcing and overseeing client engagements related to mergers and acquisitions, conducting financial analyses and due diligence, preparing marketing materials, advising on transactions, and facilitating capital placement. The role will involve direct collaboration with senior team members and clients to deliver strategic financial solutions.
Qualifications
- Active FINRA Series 7 or 79, and active Series 63 registrations nationwide
- The ability to refer and develop private placement fundraising relationships in the U.S. institutional and wealth management sectors
- Experience sourcing, managing, and closing mid-market CorpDev M&A clients & transactions — especially in the Financisl Services industry
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling and advanced MS Office skills
- Strong background in Finance and Investment Banking
- Ability to conduct comprehensive Due Diligence with attention to detail
- Exceptional Analytical Skills for evaluating financial and operational data
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines
- Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Finance, Business Management, Marketing, or related fields is requiredi
