Administrative Support
REMOTE/PART-TIME
- £15 per hour for a minimum of 20hrs per week
- Hourly framework can be discussed on interview
Mentoring Matters is seeking temporary administrative support to join our purposeful team and supportive community. This flexible, mostly remote role may occasionally require travel to London or East Sussex.
You will be instrumental in streamlining processes, managing special projects, and supporting scheduling and organisation across the team. Your strong digital and interpersonal skills will ensure smooth and efficient operations.
As a fast-moving small business, we need a highly organised and adaptable individual who can confidently juggle multiple projects, inboxes, and calendars with ease.
Key Details
- Start: ASAP, until the end of the year.
- Hours: 4 days a week, potentially flexible within this framework. Please let us know your availability on application.
- Location: Remote, with potential travel to East Sussex or London.
- In-person training will be provided.

About You
This role requires someone with a methodical approach. We are a very small team, so flexibility and support across various areas are essential as we work towards our goal of creating a more equitable industry for everyone. We are looking for someone who is focused, proactive in offering support, and will work alongside us as we constantly evolve to provide the best possible service for our community.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Adaptable, focused and proactive in offering support
- Adept at scheduling and travel management
- Confident working with digital tools and technology
- A natural communicator with an empathetic and understanding approach
- Able to translate big ideas into manageable action points.
- At least 1 year’s experience as an Executive Assistant, Project Manager, or in a similar admin role.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and support a busy Founder effectively
- Ideally someone who enjoys incorporating digital tools to help you manage your days

Duties
- Provide full service administrative support to the Founder
- Managing deadlines, changes and delays; updating checkpoints, and communicating changes delays to the relevant parties
- Digital filing
- Proof reading, drafting and correcting emails and digital copy
- Managing the digital diary
- Booking domestic and international travel
- Tracking progress in the digital project management board
- Following up and chasing external stakeholders
- Managing inbox queries
- Handling any problems that may arise during the mentoring cycle, working with the Founder to ensure a resolution is reached.
- Presenting weekly to the Founder to touch base and prioritise
- Taking minutes
- Work across a range of technologies to create documents, spreadsheets, tasks, emails and schedules
