Business Data Analyst

Position: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer – Data AnalystLocation: Remote

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering reporting requirements directly from business users and designing and developing reports and dashboards using SAP BusinessObjects. A strong focus on data accuracy, performance, and user collaboration is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with business users to gather and document reporting and dashboard requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain BusinessObjects reports using tools such as Web Intelligence and Universe Designer
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and optimal performance across all reporting solutions
• Work with data architects and analysts to align reporting with data models and business logic
• Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues, including data inconsistencies and performance bottlenecks
• Support and enhance existing reports based on evolving business needs

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects, including Web Intelligence and Universe Designer
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with data warehousing concepts
• Ability to interpret and optimize query execution plans
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
• Familiarity with performance tuning and data validation techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in onsite/offshore delivery models
• Exposure to other BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Understanding of ETL processes and data integration
