Business Development Manager
- Location: Home Office, ideally located in southern Germany
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in further developing our activities (especially in southern Germany).The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Responsibilities
- You identify market potential and develop new business opportunities in close coordination with our international team.
- You continuously develop your sales territory through strategic customer planning and targeted acquisition of new customers (sectors: aerospace, defense technology, medical technology...).
- You independently manage an existing customer base in all technical and commercial matters, on site.
- You enjoy traveling and presenting our constantly evolving portfolio to new and existing customers, as well as coordinating projects during the initiation phase.
- With the support of our technical specialists, you maintain close contact with our customers' development departments to set the course for future sales success early in the design-in phase.
Qualifications
- You have excellent, customer-oriented communication skills, making customers and prospects feel comfortable in every conversation.
- You are motivated, dynamic, and a team player who enjoys working with international colleagues.
- You have a strong interest in learning and personal development.
- You have completed technical training and/or have professional experience in the field of electrical engineering and/or have a commercial background with a strong technical interest.
- You have (initial) experience in sales or business development.
- You speak fluent German and English.
