Mount Isa is a great place to live and work!About The RoleAs the Senior Support Officer (Remote and Community), you'll provide high-level administrative and recruitment support to the Director of Nursing – Remote Facilities. This is a key role ensuring the smooth coordination of nursing workforce activities across our remote sites.Key Responsibilities Include
- Coordinate recruitment processes and onboarding for nursing and midwifery staff.
- Maintain accurate HR and recruitment databases, documentation, and correspondence.
- Liaise with agencies and government bodies regarding recruitment and sponsorship.
- Provide administrative and confidential support to the Nursing and Midwifery Support Unit.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive workplace.
Requirements
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Hep B and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
