We’re looking to hire a Marketing Research Director for an American pharmaceutical company.
In this high-profile role, you will join the Market Research Team to direct all aspects of Business Intelligence for their pharmaceutical/biotech business, including initiation of the RFP process, Vendor Selection, Study Design, Contract Execution, Budget Management.
- This is a 12 month + opportunity.
- The role is located in Chicago, IL and is fully remote.
Responsibilities:
- In this role, you will be a trusted partner to Brand Leadership, guiding brand strategy and advising on key initiatives through primary market research, data and analytics, and competitive intelligence capabilities.
- Lead all aspects of project planning, coordination, setting timelines, scheduling participant meetings, shaping conclusions and recommendations, presenting interim and final results.
- Play a leading role in the continuous brand planning process based on a deep understanding of the market drivers, patient journey, competition and positioning highlighting opportunities to enhance patient and HCP experience.
Requirements:
- Prior pharmaceutical market research and analytics experience strongly preferred.
- Well-versed in conducting primary and secondary research, analytics using biotech data sources including epidemiology, treatment landscape, analyst reports and competitor analysis, quantitative, qualitative and competitive intelligence.
- Strong ability to create visually impactful slides and craft compelling executive-level story from primary and secondary insights.
- Ability to analyze real-world claims data and utilize data visualization tools like Tableau is considered a plus.
- Bachelors degree required. Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters or PhD) is preferred.
