We’re looking for a skilled Remote Network Engineer to design, secure, and maintain our network infrastructure from anywhere. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a distributed environment, communicates clearly, and can independently troubleshoot complex network issues.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks
• Monitor network performance and ensure reliability, uptime, and throughput
• Troubleshoot and resolve remote connectivity issues, outages, and latency problems
• Implement and maintain firewalls, security protocols, and access controls
• Manage routers, switches, VPN gateways, and other network devices
• Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and configuration backups
• Maintain detailed network diagrams and documentation
• Collaborate virtually with IT and engineering teams on network projects
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity plans

✅ Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP
• Experience with enterprise hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.)
• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network security tools
• Proficiency with VPNs, load balancing, QoS, and wireless technologies
• Ability to diagnose issues using tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.
• Excellent remote communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Network+) are a bonus

🌟 Nice-to-Have

• Cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, SASE, or Zero Trust architectures
• Familiarity with VoIP systems
• Network automation skills (Python, Ansible, Bash)
• Experience managing globally distributed networks
