Frontend Software Engineer

About the Opportunity: The Frontend Software Engineer role is integral to a collaborative development team responsible for building and delivering critical user experiences that support a digital marketplace serving millions of customers. This position contributes to accelerating user experience development and driving strategic digital transformation by creating scalable, responsive web applications and tools that enhance customer interaction and subscription management.

3. Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive, enterprise-scale web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, NestJS) and progressive web technologies
• Apply web performance optimization, accessibility standards, and ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Maintain continuous integration and deployment practices for front-end applications
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and product teams to deliver seamless user interfaces
• Translate complex requirements into user-friendly digital solutions
• Participate in agile ceremonies including standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
• Build reusable UI components and maintain design systems
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues
• Drive improvements in development processes, tools, and technologies
• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis including non-business hours

4. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of frontend software development experience
• At least 2 years working with public cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, and responsive design principles
• Experience creating REST endpoints with Node.js, Express, and NestJS
• Expertise in designing scalable frontend architectures and component libraries
• Knowledge of client-side architecture, state management, and cloud service integration
• Experience with frontend data management including REST/GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with containerized deployments, static site generators, and serverless hosting
• Proficiency with frontend build tools (Webpack/Vite), CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
• Strong understanding of frontend security best practices and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
