Project/Program Manager I

Contract Length: 3 months

Location: Remote (must work Pacific Time hours)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Project/Program Manager to support a large-scale initiative focused on developing, reviewing, and standardizing performance testing protocols for consumer products. This role requires strong documentation skills, high-volume workflow management, and the ability to collaborate directly with third‑party laboratories. You will help organize and finalize approximately 250+ testing protocols within a 3‑month project window.

This position is fully remote and supports a global team.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple third‑party testing laboratories.
• Collect, review, and assess lab-provided testing protocols for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements.
• Draft, edit, and standardize protocols to ensure consistency across all product lines.
• Manage the intake, organization, and tracking of 250+ protocol documents across various labs.
• Analyze customer complaint themes to ensure testing protocols address real-world performance issues.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation with regular reporting on progress, risks, and delays.
• Coordinate across global partners (EU, China, Japan) to gather requirements and consolidate deliverables.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities within protocol development workflows.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Remote role supporting global teams.
• Must work standard PST collaboration hours.
• Standard 9–5 schedule; no overtime or holiday work expected.

Required Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in project management, quality, compliance, or testing.
• Background in consumer products, CPG, quality management, or related industries.
• Strong exposure to laboratory testing environments and performance testing methodologies.
• Excellent documentation review and technical writing skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume deliverables under tight timelines.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with external partners.
• Analytical skills to connect customer experience issues with testing coverage needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience working with third‑party testing labs or certification bodies.
• Experience in private-label or retailer-owned brands.
• Exposure to globally distributed teams and multi‑region program execution.
• Laboratory or quality technician experience is a plus.
