Role Description
Zisman Law is looking for a reliable, friendly and detail-oriented Office Administrator / Intake Specialist to help support a busy Iowa law office.
This is a fully remote role for someone who is comfortable working during Central Time business hours. The right person will be organized, accountable, comfortable speaking with clients and able to follow detailed instructions.
This position is a good fit for someone with prior client-facing administrative experience, especially in a law office, professional office or customer-service-heavy environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answering phone calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Following up with clients
- Managing basic intake information
- Helping with email and calendar coordination
- Working with documents, PDFs and online files
- Supporting the attorney and office team with miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed
- Communicating with clients in a professional, calm and friendly manner
Required Skills And Experience
Applicants should have:
- Prior administrative assistant experience
- Prior client-facing work experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- A positive and friendly phone manner
- Reliability and accountability
- Comfort working independently in a remote role
- Ability to follow instructions carefully
- Comfort handling sensitive client information
Legal office experience is preferred, but not required. Experience with intake, scheduling, document preparation or client follow-up in a law office is a plus.
Software And Tech Skills
Applicants should be comfortable using or willing to learn:
- Zoom
- Google Docs
- Google Drive
- Gmail or similar email tools
- Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF tools
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
- Online scheduling tools
You do not need to be a technical expert, but you should be comfortable using common office software and learning new systems.
Location Requirement
This role is open to candidates currently located in the US/Canada.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada or US and must be available to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central Time.
Compensation
This position pays a fixed monthly salary of $2,200 CAD per month, depending on experience, skills and fit for the role.
