About the role

Project Manager | Launch & Scale Operations

Skye Health | Full-Time, W-2 | Remote

Position Overview

● Skye Health is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to support the launch and scaling of its telehealth business. This role spans multiple interconnected workstreams across operations, clinical support, technology, Customer Service, hiring, vendors, and implementation.

● The Project Manager will work closely with Skye’s Head of Operations to create structure, clarify priorities and ownership, and keep important initiatives moving to completion. The role is best suited for someone who can quickly understand a fast-moving environment, identify where coordination or follow-through is breaking down, and create practical systems without adding unnecessary process.

Employment & Working Model

• This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role working closely with Skye’s Head of Operations and cross-functional teams. The Project Manager will gain broad exposure to key workstreams, take ownership of follow-through, and help create the structure and operating systems needed as Skye launches and scales.

• Compensation: $80,000 annual salary, plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Launch & Cross-Functional Project Management

• Maintain a clear view of active launch and scale workstreams, including priorities, owners, timelines, dependencies, risks, decisions, and next steps.

• Coordinate across teams and partners to keep work moving, clarify ownership, and ensure important actions and follow-up are completed.

• Identify blockers, gaps, competing priorities, or issues requiring leadership attention and surface them at the right time.

Operational Partnership & Leadership Support

• Work closely with leadership to understand how work moves, where time is being consumed, and where additional structure or follow-through is needed.

• Organize information and coordination across meetings, messages, workstreams, and stakeholders so ownership and next steps remain clear.

• Help protect leadership bandwidth by routing work appropriately, reducing unnecessary one-off interruptions, and coordinating internal and external resources.

Implementation & Transition Management

• Support major implementations and transitions by keeping milestones, dependencies, testing, handoffs, ownership, and open items visible and moving through completion.

• Coordinate across internal teams, external partners, and new resources to surface risks, resolve gaps, and ensure key workflows and implementation issues are addressed before they become recurring operational problems.

Systems, AI & Automation

• Identify recurring manual work, repeated questions, and process friction that can be standardized, automated, or supported with better tools.

• Use AI, automation, templates, and workflow improvements to increase internal efficiency and translate recurring operational needs into clear requirements for technical teams.

• Partner with the appropriate clinical, operational, and technical owners to ensure AI-supported workflows reflect approved content, business rules, and escalation boundaries.

Hiring, Onboarding & Team Coordination

• Support hiring and onboarding logistics as needed, including candidate coordination, follow-up, and onboarding plans.

• Help new team members, contractors, and other resources integrate smoothly with clear responsibilities, priorities, documentation, dependencies, and handoffs.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

• Identify recurring operational issues and opportunities to improve how work moves across teams.

• Help establish practical operating metrics and dashboards that give leadership visibility into launch, scale, workload, and execution.

• Clarify where key data lives, who owns it, and which measures are useful enough to drive action rather than create reporting for reporting’s sake.

Role Boundaries

• Coordinate and operationalize cross-functional work without replacing the clinical, legal, compliance, technical, or other subject-matter owners responsible for substantive decisions.

• The role will evolve as Skye Health launches and scales, with priorities reviewed regularly with leadership.

Qualifications

Required

• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects or operations in a fast-moving organization.

• Experience working in a startup, high-growth, or similarly dynamic environment where priorities and processes are still evolving.

• Strong ability to create structure, clarify ownership, and move work forward with limited direction.

• Excellent organization, follow-through, judgment, and attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders and work independently with senior leaders.

Preferred

• Digital health, telehealth, healthcare operations, or other regulated-industry experience.

• Experience coordinating technology implementations, cross-functional operational work, or vendor transitions.

• Experience building workflows, SOPs, automations, internal systems, or operational dashboards and metrics.

• Experience using AI and automation to improve operational efficiency.

Success in This Role

• Success means Skye Health has a clear operating rhythm as it launches and scales: priorities and ownership are visible, cross-functional work stays on track, and leadership has better visibility into what is moving, what is blocked, and what needs attention.

• Over time, the role should reduce the amount of day-to-day coordination leadership has to personally manage while helping the organization operate with greater clarity, consistency, and follow-through.
