We are growing rapidly and are looking for a commercially minded and hands-on Finance Manager to join our expanding team
Role Overview
As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our external SME clients. This is a strategic and operational role, requiring strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Advisory & Oversight:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for clients and providing financial guidance to clients
- Oversee the delivery of client accounting services (bookkeeping, VAT returns, management accounts)
- Preparation and filing of clients’ statutory accounts
- Preparation and filing of clients' corporation tax returns
- Deal with ad hoc client requests
- Preparation of several clients’ monthly payroll
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial legislation, tax regulations, and compliance matters
- Maintain friendly and professional relationships with clients mainly from the UK and Singapore.
Team & Process Management:
- Lead and support outsourced teams
- Improve and implement financial systems and workflows to increase efficiency
- Ensure data integrity across financial platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, and other integrated tools
Skills & ExperienceEssential:
- Prior work experience with bookkeeping & accounting – at least five years
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong management skills and able to work autonomously
- Familiarity with Xero cloud-based accounting software
- Knowledge of payroll and tax compliance
- A formal accounting qualification
- UK-based
Desirable:
- Knowledge of ClickUp (workflow software)
- Knowledge of other cloud-based accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho)
- Prior experience working remotely
