Job Description

Posted on: January 31, 2026

About The Starknet Foundation The Starknet Foundation is the steward of Starknet, a permissionless validity rollup designed to scale the world’s most important blockchains without compromise. Having pioneered ZK-STARK technology to scale Ethereum, we are now entering a new era as the first network to settle simultaneously on both Bitcoin and Ethereum. Joining the Starknet Foundation now places you at the epicenter of this pivotal phase and offers a rare, ground-floor opportunity to shape how BTCFi evolves. This is a unique chance to build the first unified execution layer that turns the world’s most secure assets into productive capital, and it requires exceptional talent. We’re looking for people who think in systems, operate well in ambiguity, and are motivated by long-term impact over short-term wins. If you care about building durable foundations (technical, organizational, or ecosystem-level) and want your work to meaningfully shape how decentralized systems scale, this is the place to do it. We’re hiring a Social Media Marketer to help Starknet show up consistently, clearly, and credibly across our core social channels - @starknet and @starknetfndn. This role sits within the GTM team and reports directly to our Marketing Lead. You’ll shape how Starknet shows up day-to-day on social, translating ecosystem stories, Foundation initiatives, product launches, and partner activity into compelling, timely content that resonates with crypto-native audiences. This is a remote role and does not require UK residence. However, it is best suited for someone highly flexible and based in/willing to work European timezone hours, to enable close collaboration and real-time execution with the broader team. What You’ll Do

  • Own and operate the Starknet and Starknet Foundation social channels (primarily X, blogs, LinkedIn, TG), ensuring consistent, high-quality posting and engagement.
  • Translate marketing strategy, ecosystem narratives, and campaign direction into clear, on-brand social content (both long and short form) that speaks fluently to crypto-native and technical audiences.
  • Act as a strong amplifier of ecosystem activity, fielding inbound requests from partners and determining how and when to spotlight launches, events, and key moments across Starknet.
  • Develop and execute channel-specific posting strategies, balancing planned content with reactive, real-time engagement.
  • Monitor conversations, trends, and sentiment across the ecosystem and broader crypto space, and measure campaign performance to evaluate impact, engagement, and effectiveness.
  • Engage directly with the community in a thoughtful, credible way, responding, contextualizing, and escalating when needed.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Growth, Product, and other internal stakeholders to ensure social execution aligns with broader GTM priorities.
  • Help maintain and evolve Starknet’s brand voice across social channels, with guidance and direction from the Marketing Lead.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of hands-on social media marketing experience, ideally in crypto/web3.
  • Deeply crypto-native: you understand onchain culture, narratives, and memes, and know how to balance degen fluency with clear, responsible communication.
  • Comfortable engaging with technical audiences and translating complex concepts into accessible social content.
  • Strong writer with excellent judgment and ability to adapt tone, timing, and framing based on audience and context.
  • Experienced operating social channels in fast-moving environments, including reactive posting and real-time engagement.
  • Familiar with social media analytics and monitoring tools, and able to use data to inform content and channel strategy.
  • Collaborative by default, but confident owning execution and making day-to-day decisions with limited oversight in a remote, always-on environment.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple threads without losing attention to detail.
