About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to create and deliver top-tier products that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You will work on complex technical challenges that require well-structured, test-driven solutions, leveraging your expertise in modern Java development. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a passionate team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. The role is 100% remote, providing flexibility and autonomy, with an optional work environment at our Santa Monica office located on the iconic 3rd Street Promenade. Please note that at this time, we are only able to hire US Citizens or active US Green Card holders. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in modern Java development
• Strong proficiency with software architecture, modular design, and object-oriented programming
• Experience working with various modern databases, including Relational and NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with web-based API integrations, such as RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of the Spring Framework is a strong plus
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a strong plus
• Experience with real-time distributed computational systems is advantageous
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Strong leadership, prioritization, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications
• Implement robust software architecture and modular code solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals
• Develop and integrate web-based APIs to facilitate seamless communication between systems
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes
• Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications and user guides
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices
• Mentor junior team members and lead technical initiatives
