Position: CATIA Design Engineer - Mechanical CAD
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and develop 3D CAD models using CATIA.
- Design mechanical components, parts, and assemblies.
- Work on part design, assembly modeling, and surface modeling.
- Prepare and modify engineering drawings.
- Explain and document CAD design workflows step by step.
- Review engineering tasks and ensure technical accuracy.
- Provide feedback to help improve AI systems' understanding of CAD and mechanical design.
Required Qualifications
- Professional, hands-on experience using CATIA.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design and CAD engineering principles.
- Practical experience with 3D CAD modeling.
- Good knowledge of mechanical part design and assembly modeling.
- Understanding of surface modeling and engineering drawings.
- Ability to explain technical workflows and engineering decisions clearly.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication and technical documentation abilities.
- Must currently have access to CATIA software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience working on professional mechanical design or CAD engineering projects.
- Exposure to industrial product development, component design, or mechanical assemblies.
- Experience interpreting engineering specifications and design requirements.
- Ability to independently complete technical assignments and maintain high-quality deliverables.
