Illustrator

This opportunity is for a skilled illustrator to create exclusive rock climbing-themed artwork for a series of high-quality t-shirts. The project is a personal commission for a dedicated climber based in Mississauga, Canada, who is known for tackling some of the region’s most challenging climbs. The t-shirts will be given as unique gifts to friends and are not intended for commercial sale, making the artwork highly exclusive and meaningful. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio in illustration, a passion for outdoor or adventure themes, and the ability to deliver personalized, high-quality designs that capture the spirit of rock climbing. Deliverables

• Develop original, rock climbing-inspired illustrations suitable for t-shirt printing
• Collaborate closely to ensure the artwork reflects the unique, legendary nature of the project
• Deliver high-resolution, print-ready files in required formats (e.g., AI, PSD, PNG)
• Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions to achieve the desired result
• Ensure all artwork is exclusive and not reused or resold elsewhere

Requirements

• Proven experience in illustration, preferably with apparel or outdoor/adventure themes
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skill
• Ability to translate personal stories or themes into compelling visual art
• Proficiency with industry-standard design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback
• Ability to deliver within agreed timelines
• Must be able to work remotely; location in Canada is a plus but not required
