Social Media Manager – Music Fan Accounts

Join a dynamic independent music team to drive the online presence of artists blending funk, hip-hop, 80s synthpop, and modern R&B. This role focuses on creating and managing authentic 'fan-style' social media accounts on Instagram and TikTok to promote artists and releases. You will be responsible for producing engaging content such as short videos, memes, song snippets, and behind-the-scenes posts that resonate with music fans. The position requires a strong understanding of music culture, fan engagement, and the ability to adapt to evolving social media trends. You will coordinate posting schedules, interact with audiences, monitor analytics, and collaborate closely with artists and the team to ensure consistent, impactful promotion. This is a remote, part-time contract role with a one-month paid trial and flexible hours. Deliverables

• Create and manage fan-style Instagram and TikTok accounts for multiple artists
• Develop and post engaging content: short videos, memes, song snippets, and behind-the-scenes material
• Monitor and respond to audience engagement, fostering a vibrant fan community
• Track and report basic analytics to inform content strategy
• Coordinate posting schedules with artists and the team

Requirements

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for musicians, creators, or entertainment brands
• Deep understanding of fan engagement strategies and music culture
• Strong content creation skills, including video editing for short-form platforms
• Familiarity with TikTok and Instagram algorithms, trends, and best practices
• Experience running fan or meme accounts in music or entertainment is highly desirable
