Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Data Operations Manager, the Real Estate Data Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining UnlockLand’s database of property, zoning, and financial information. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of large datasets powering UnlockLand’s AI models and real estate feasibility tools.
You will coordinate with developers, municipalities, and internal teams to validate and reconcile property data, mortgage records, and valuation parameters — enabling users to generate accurate and compliant development insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, update, and verify real estate, zoning, and financial datasets within the UnlockLand platform
- Process and reconcile data related to mortgages, land use, and development projects
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to flag data integrity issues and optimize database processes
- Prepare documentation, reports, and validation logs for internal audits and compliance
- Support users and clients with data inquiries, corrections, or platform-related administrative requests
- Ensure all data aligns with provincial and municipal regulations across Canada and the U.S. markets
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Real Estate, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in real estate data management, mortgage administration, or lending operations
- Strong understanding of mortgage processes, property records, and zoning documentation
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and cloud-based data tools (e.g., Airtable, Google Sheets, or CRM systems)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle large data volumes under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills
- Familiarity with PropTech or SaaS environments is an asset
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent command of real estate data workflows and financial modeling basics
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently while meeting high data accuracy standards
- Demonstrated customer service orientation and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across data, engineering, and investment teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based productivity tools
