Marketing Assistant

Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated and organized Marketing Assistant to join our team remotely. The Marketing Assistant will support our marketing team in executing various campaigns, content creation, and digital marketing strategies to promote the Upper Darby School District and its programs. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and have a strong understanding of marketing principles, with a passion for education and community engagement.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation and management of digital content for social media, email marketing, and website updates
• Support the execution of marketing campaigns, including monitoring and reporting on their performance
• Conduct market research to help identify trends and opportunities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure marketing materials align with school district goals and branding
• Assist with the development and scheduling of content across social media platforms
• Monitor online engagement and suggest improvements to increase outreach and visibility
• Help maintain marketing databases and coordinate with external vendors or partners as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and content management systems
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus
• A passion for education and helping to promote community initiatives
