Position Overview
Our client, a growing technology company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its FP&A team and support strategic financial planning across the organization.
This role will work closely with finance leadership and business partners to improve forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and decision support. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with large data sets, and able to translate financial information into clear business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes.
- Build and maintain financial models for planning and decision support.
- Perform monthly variance analysis and identify key business drivers.
- Develop management reporting and executive-level financial presentations.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance and analysis.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, headcount, and operating performance.
- Support long-range planning and scenario analysis.
- Help improve FP&A processes, reporting, and financial visibility.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis for senior leadership and strategic initiatives.
- Assist with Board and executive reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or related experience.
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Experience in technology, software, or another fast-paced environment is preferred.
