About The Role We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of next-generation consumer privacy mobile products. In this role, you will serve millions of users daily, taking on significant responsibilities that have a direct impact on our company's growth and innovation. You will have the autonomy to design, develop, and own substantial parts of our codebase, working closely with product and design teams to craft secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions. Your work will involve tackling challenging problems related to security, smart encryption, key management, cloud synchronization, and backend analytics. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of security technology, contributing to open-source projects and shaping the future of digital privacy. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-time related experience in software engineering
• Proficiency in backend development using Python 3.x
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of DevOps fundamentals and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Couchbase)
• Familiarity with mobile backend services supporting iOS and Android (Couchbase Server/Gateway)
• Experience with push notifications and real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, MQTT, Firebase Cloud Messaging)
• Understanding of message queues and event-driven architectures (SQS, Pub/Sub)
• Experience integrating third-party APIs (payment gateways, social authentication, analytics)
• Knowledge of security best practices, cryptography, and key/secret management
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
• Experience with frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js or similar frameworks) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset for ownership and independent work

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend services supporting mobile applications
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with iOS and Android clients
• Implement robust security measures, including encryption, key management, and authentication protocols
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
• Manage database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity across systems
• Implement real-time communication features and push notification services
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance app functionality
• Contribute to open-source projects and share best practices within the engineering community
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements proactively
